About this programme

As organizations seek to increase efficiency and cut costs in the increasingly challenging business climate, a focus on selecting, prioritizing and delivering the projects is more important than ever. Key to this objective is effective Project Management, a framework to ensure that investments in projects, resource allocation, monitoring, and evaluation is optimized throughout project life cycles and through to delivery and close-out.

The Fundamentals of Project Management training course will provide participants with an overview of the world of project management. It covers basic Project Management concepts including project management definitions, project and project management life cycles, types of organizations and who the project stakeholders are. It also covers the ten knowledge areas for the participants to be able to use them in planning their projects at their workplace, including integration, scope, time, cost and stakeholder management.
