Module 2: Tubular Logistics (Casing and Tubing)

• Mill to wellsite logistics: transport by truck, rail, or vessel.

• Pipe yards: storage, inspection, and thread protection.

• Pipe tally and traceability systems.

• Case Study/Hands-on Exercise: Plan the logistics for casing delivery to a remote land rig, including transport, unloading, pipe yard storage, and inspection.

Module 3: Wellhead and Completion Equipment Logistics

• Wellhead equipment: sourcing, kitting, and delivery.

• Completion tools: packers, safety valves, and flow control equipment.

• Rental tools and vendor-managed inventory.

• Case Study/Hands-on Exercise: Coordinate the logistics for a well completion, including wellhead delivery, packers, tubing hangers, and associated equipment.

Module 4: Field Inventory Management and Consumables

• Field warehouse vs. truck vs. container-based storage at remote sites.

• Consumables: chemicals, seals, gaskets, and small parts.

• Inventory tracking and reorder systems at wellsite.

• Case Study/Hands-on Exercise: Design a field inventory management system for a remote drilling camp, including reorder points, storage, and cycle counting.

Module 5: Well Intervention and Workover Logistics

• Workover rigs and coiled tubing units.

• Logistics for workover materials: slickline, wireline, and stimulation chemicals.

• Emergency well intervention (well control) kit.

• Case Study/Hands-on Exercise: Plan the logistics for a hydraulic fracturing (frac) workover, including frac sand, chemicals, and proppant delivery to site.
