Overview

About this programme

Inclusive agribusiness development is essential for empowering youth and women, promoting economic growth, and strengthening food systems. Despite the significant role that youth and women play in agriculture, many still face barriers such as limited access to land, finance, technology, and markets. Promoting inclusive agribusiness models helps unlock opportunities for entrepreneurship, employment, and sustainable livelihoods.

This course equips participants with practical knowledge and strategies to promote participation of youth and women in agricultural value chains. The programme focuses on inclusive business models, agribusiness entrepreneurship, access to finance, market linkages, and gender-responsive agricultural policies.

Participants will gain practical skills to develop agribusiness ventures, support youth and women entrepreneurs, and design inclusive agricultural programs that drive sustainable development.
